i found an old sunrise beverage bottle. has orange and black on colors on it. and it looks like either a 48 or 40 stamped on the bottom of it and also has sunrise bottling company, tazewell va on the back of it. any comments?

  2. Well, I’d love to see a picture. My guess is it’s from the 1940s but that’s a pretty uneducated guess.

I have over 25 Sun rise bottles.
Mine have the “Buy with confidence” Drink with Pleasure in circles.

The mountains on the front are all white, but all lettering is red.

Looking to sell them, probably on Ebay.

  4. Good luck Gus. Let me know if they do anything more than $5 each.

Just found about 15 beverage ACL bottles in an upper room of an old barn on our property. Sun-Ripe is one of the brands. Where do I go to sell these? Is Ebay the best way or would antique shop owners be interested too? In Central Pa we have a lot of these. Leslie

  6. Some antique stores may be interested, but like everything else, for a while bottles will sell really well, then for a while they won’t. Depends on what part of the cycle we are in right now. I think things are looking up as the comments on my bottles have picked up a lot the last few weeks. You could try eBay, if you don’t mind packing them for shipping, that’s how you’ll get the most money for them. A dealer has to buy with the idea of making a profit, so they can’t pay as much. The dealer can be a faster way to unload all of them, or you can sell for more on eBay. I’d love to see and post the pictures here if you have some.

I have a 10 oz Sun RIse Beverage bottle, dirty but good condition and a Sunny Sky do you have any interest in either of these?

  8. I might be interested in Sunny Sky. Can you send me a picture? mrpontiac at yahoo dot com. If it’s pretty unusual I’ll be interested. I already have several Sun Rise bottles though.

I have a interesting piece that I am not exactly sure what it is, it looks like the same bottle that you have pictured at the top of this post except it is flat and has a wire hanger coming from the top, I am thinking it is an old advertising piece, would this be something you are interested in?

  10. I’m not buying anymore stuff, I’m trying to get rid of stuff now. However, that sounds like a fantastic item, I’d love to see a photo. Or post one if you’d let me. But, I bet that you could sell it on eBay. Or maybe a local antique shop. Good luck, and I really would like to see it.

Would love to send you a picture so you can see it and I have no problem with you posting it, where would you like me to send it? I will send it out as soon as I get a decent shot of it.
If you have any thoughts on what it might be when you see it let me know.
    Thanks
    Lonnie
