The Incredible Roy Clark for $2.99
The Incredible Roy Clark, Dot Records, DOS 25990, 1971 and A Pair of Fives (Banjos That Is), ABC Dot DOSD 2015, 1975. I like the ad for the “Free Little LP” that is in the Incredible album. A 7 inch album, I think should be called an EP.
Roy Clark is really a fantastic musician and a great stage presence. His best feature (besides his talent) is that Roy always looks like he’s having a ball. Always. Roy Clark is most famous for Hee Haw of course, but he don’t stereotype him, or think small of his talents. He could play banjo or guitar or sing or tell a joke. I have a few more albums of his. I also read his autobiography
and it’s pretty good, mainly as a fond look back at Hee Haw through a humble country-boy’s eyes. Look for a post on Hee Haw shortly. Now check out Roy Clark on the Porter Wagner Show.

Roy Clark music was always in my home when I was growing up.
Yes, I remember listening to Roy Clark. I pick Jack Black to play him in the movie.
