The Ames Brothers with Esquivel! And some cool round speakers.

Wouldn’t you love these cool round hi-fi speakers? Mid-Century Modernism is sooo fun. And on top of that, this is a TRUE STEREOPHONIC RECORD which includes ingredient 317X! You can’t ask for much more than that.

The Ames Brothers, orchestra under the direction of Juan Esquivel, Hello Amigos, RCA Victor LSP-2100, 1960. Esquivel is pretty popular with the lounge music set, especially for Latin sounds. And I never miss an opportunity to point people to The Retro Cocktail Hour radio show from KANU. Listen online.

This cover is NM complete with cellophane and if I remember the vinyl is too. $5 includes shipping and it’s yours.

Tremendously cool cover. I wonder what those round speakers sounded like. It’s an interesting design

  2. Personally, I’d love to exit a plane this way. Get right to the fresh air after a couple hours in the stuffy airport then an hour on a stuffy plane.

I’d love the hear those speaker too.
