Superhero Catalog from 1976 – Part 1 of 5
I’ll be posting this in 5 sets. The Superhero Enterprises Superhero Catalog of Games, Books, Toys, Puzzels from the Original Superhero Shop in Livingsten Mall, Livingsten, New Jersey. There is a floor plan for the store in this catalog, does anyone know if it was built? We never had anything like this is the western Midwest. In addition to having both Marvel and DC comic characters, there’s a few TV shows such as Happy Days Fonz stuff, Space 1999, and Star Trek, in addition to a few other things like Planet of the Apes.
Lots of Mego toys are included of course. This first set included the Hall of Justice and the Fortress of Solitude. Wonder Woman’s invisible jet, a Spider Man motorcycle, and a Fonz toy! Some colorforms (which I loved as a kid) and superhero stamps. A friend of mine had the Joker VW minibus van. The flower on the top would squirt water.

Hey there. I hope this finds you doing well. I also hope you’ve had a great weekend so far. Take care. Have a nice week. Cheers!
Keith, It’s been a great weekend! Hope yours was good also.
I was obsessed with that Mangler toy ad as a kid, but never got it…nor have I ever seen it anywhere, even in these days of eBay. Has anyone else? I’d love to see one of them for real, and find out how exactly it “chews up superheroes and spits them out flat as a board.”

I don’t remember the Mangler toy. Maybe someone can chime in.
