Songs from The Jungle Book and Other Jungle Favorites
Songs from Walt Disney’s The Jungle Book and other Jungle Favorites, Disneyland Records 1304, 1967.
The Jungle Book is the last movie Walt worked on. It’s also one of my favorites. This was the first of three films that Phil Harris did for Disney. He was Baloo the Bear, Thomas O’Malley (the alley cat), and Little John in Disney’s animated features The Jungle Book, The Aristocats, and Robin Hood. The record has the Jungle V.I.P.s. That of course, is Louis Prima and his band in the movie. Prima does the voice of King Louis, King of the Swingers, a Jungle V.I.P. Also, an orangutan. There’s some great music in this movie. And George Sanders does the excellent voice work for Shere Khan the Tiger.

I always loved this movie and the music from it. It’s one of my favorite classic Disney movies. They just don’t make them like this one anymore.
hi.. i have just been looking for ages for this record ‘songs from the jungle book’, which is the first picture of this page. it is a vinyl soundtrack album but the cover look similar but have their differences. instead of having the disneyland records mark, there is a hallmark records mark. the back cover is completely differnt. it is a black and white drawing of baloo and kaa with more hallmark record marks. im just wondering if you could help me find out more information on this as i am ver confused. i dont know if its different because it was made in england or if it is an ealier or later version. please comment or email me. i can send pictures if neccessary. thank you
