Brand Of Empire
by Luke Short. Dell D289. 1937, this edition late 1950s, early 1960s. Cover art by Robert McGinnis. This is the best cover of many for this particular title. What’s torn off says “3rd Big Printing” and you can see it’s a fireplace. But with the torn off corner it looks like he’s standing in a burning building while slowly reloading his gun so he can step outside and finish off those cowardly scalywags. Honestly one of my favorite pulp western covers.

“Dames, Dolls and Delinquents”.. hahaa
Um, just realized that wasn’t the post, it was an ad. I’m not te best at paying attention these days…
Quite alright, Joe. Just glad someone commented!
You’re not alone. These days nobody’s commenting at my place either.
