Ray Charles Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music

Ray Charles, Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music, ABC-Paramount ABCS-410, 1962. As seen on TV! Only $1.97! However, if you want to buy it from me it’ll be $12.50 plus shipping. It has his “I Can’t Stop Loving You” which is just amazing.

This really was a ground-breaking album when released. Ray Charles grew up listening to The Grand Ole Opry and loved country western music. Nat King Cole also did a country album called Ramblin’ Rose released the same year that I also have on album and CD. It’s a lot more slick than the Ray Charles one, but his is pretty slick too.
