Dwight’s Soda “Useful Birds of America” Trading Card
Dwight’s Soda had a series of cards for Useful Birds of America. As opposed to the un-useful birds like the cowbird. Some good info on the series of cards can be found at Deseret News. This Prothonotary Warbler is copyright 1922 and Third Series Number 7. Dwight’s soda is baking soda (bicarbonate of soda), not soda pop. I’ve already sold this card.
City Map of Wichita KS 1969 or so
Map of Metropolitan Wichita, Kansas. Compliments of Kansas State Bank and Trust Company. Pictured on the first pic is Century II, an expo hall built in 1969, where I was just at a conference last week. The second pic has the public library, built in 1967, on the left (I was just there also, it’s right next to Century II), also pictured are the KSB Motor Bank and the Regal Inn.

Lots and lots of music today! Both documentaries and concert films. The Classic Albums series is pretty good, I’ve watched a few already (The Joshua Tree and The Doors). Remember, these are only the NEW to Netflix instant streaming, they’ve had several others streaming for some time, and lots more on DVD. AND this is just the retro stuff, I didn’t include Alisha Keys, Korn, or Puddle of Mudd, etc. To join Netflix just click the banner above.
- Daydream Believers: The Monkees Story (2000)

- Rory Gallagher: Live at Montreux (1975)

- Toto: 25th Anniversary: Live in Amsterdam (2003) Why on Earth anyone would watch Toto is beyond me, but here it is. Let’s Play Music!
Let’s Play Music: A Child’s Introduction to Rhythm and Melody. with Ann Callendar and Margaret Harmsworth. Wonderland Records GW-206. 1974. A Fiona Bentley Production. I just sold this at my booth at the flea market. Got $7.50 for it. It was in very good plus shape, at least, the vinyl was and the cover is at least very good.
Walt Disney’s Treasury of Dog Stories
Walt Disney’s Treasury of Dog Stories including The Incredible Journey plus Sam Savage, Big Red, Old Yeller, Greyfriars Bobby, and Nikki. Disneyland Records, 1964. This is a box-set with 3 albums. According to Discogs, this was only available through Friskies dog food! It must be rare! And those dog lovers out there want one! And the Disney collectors! I’m rich! It never seems to work out that way though. I should at least take a better picture that’s not all yellow.
