carol´s last [type] ..Incredibly Cute Coffee Can
Bob from Holland recommended the Fantomas series a while ago, this is a good opportunity to give it a try, although I’m not crazy about silents in general.
I reviewed Harikari last year. It has a clever plot twist and is pretty good for samurai fare. A little long.
The exploitation stuff looks really cool, and I will be checking out Only the Strong Survive for sure. I love the soul music of that era.
Bunchie´s last [type] ..Quickies for February 2013 Part 1
Bunchie, I’m not much on silents other than the comedies. I knew I’d read about Harikari somewhere!
Carol and Bunchie, I have a conflicted attitude toward the exploitation films. I like one every now and again, but on the whole they can be pretty gruesome. Still, they do have a certain attraction.
