Here’s my thanks to the many bloggers that send people my way. I thought I’d return the favor and be sure my readers are all aware of your blogs. I’m a bit odd in the retrosphere (I just made up that word, so now it’s trademarked to me! You have to send a penny each time you use it. Never mind, I hate rolling pennies.). I read comics as a kid, but I didn’t study them or collect them. I’m not into horror, except 1930s-40s Universal movies. Or science fiction, except for the Star Trek TV show, Star Wars (really only the first one, but the first three are worthy), and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Or fantasy, I only watched The Lord of The Rings movies because of my wife, but they are really good and I’m glad I did. I missed out on a lot of TV from my day because we moved to a small town in 1978 and we couldn’t get any reception and my folks wouldn’t get cable more than a few months a year. All that to say I don’t read and comment as widely as I should and I apologize. Anyone else who links to me, thank you, and just leave a note in the comments.
- Gilligan at RetroSpace has far and away sent the most visitors my way. Over twice the 2nd place spot. Of course his is the top retro blog around.
- Next up is Keith at 2nd and 3rd place with Coolness is Timeless and Sugar and Spice. (Actually 2nd place goes to a blog that had a post making fun of Texas, Football and Christianity that linked to my Tom Landry comic book, but they don’t count. Keith is much cooler.)
- Funky Junk Trunk is next.
- C. K. Dexter Haven at Hollywood Dreamland has a great blog on old movies.
- Amy at I Love Retro Thingskeeps us informed of Retro New Zealand.
- The Shelf, amazing they ranked so high seeing as how they post about once a quarter.
- LP Cover Lover is next.
- Dr. Monkey Retro Blog, a great place for vintage scans.
- Rave and Roll 80s music blog send a fair amount also.
- Pop Culture Safari for comic stuff.
- Vintage Child Abuse, what a great name for a blog!
- I also get a fair amount of traffic from the Internet Movie Database. If you do movie reviews, you can add your reviews to the “External Reviews” section on the left hand side of the page for the movie. You have to create an account and then just go in and add your reviews. They check them out so it takes a few days to get on there, but it’s good high-quality traffic and links.

You are much welcome, and I hope to bring many more to your wonderful blog. You are a man after my own heart – a family man, and a dude that appreciates a good miniskirt. Cheers!
