Les Paul and Mary Ford, Swingin’ South!!, Columbia CS 8728, 1963. So, I missed his birthday by a few days here. BTW, I normally get about 350 hits a day, on his birthday, I got over 5000! Just to one post, his obit. Good night, that’s crazy. I got an email from my server people. This album is nice laid-back cosmopolitan country style that was popular at the time. The guitars look like what we now call Gibson SGs, not Les Pauls. I believe that he also designed this style and it was called “Les Paul” for a while.
I’m a huge Les Paul fan. I don’t have any of their albums, though.
So they each played SGs then, bet this is a really cool album!
