Johnny Cash and Friends, Columbia Special Products C 10777 stereo, 1972. Includes Lynn Anderson, June Carter, George Jones, Jody Miller, Ray Price, Marty Robbins, and Tammy Wynette. An Associated Drug Stores Exclusive Promotion. Looks like this one was purchased at Skaggs for $1.50. Pretty good deal I’d say. These are not duets, but a lot of different singers on one album.

Then we have The Orange Blossom Special Mono, Columbia CL-2309, 1965. The Orange Blossom Special was a train and the song was written by Ervin T. Rouse as a fiddle song. It’s played all the time at bluegrass festivals. Johnny Cash mixed it up a bit by using a harmonica instead of a fiddle. One of Rouse’s friends claims Cash ruined the song. There is a PBS documentary on the song but I can’t find any links to it. Also on this album is the Bob Dylan song “It Ain’t Me Babe” and the traditional “Long Black Veil.”

Ring of Fire: The Best of Johnny Cash. Columbia CS 8853, 1963. The rings on the cover are much more pronounced in the photo than in real life.

Just wanted to answer your question: My name is Joseph Manuel Granda. However, when I joined SAG I had to use my mothers name Lindsey because no two performer can have the same or similar names. I will look through your music. Thanks you.
