Them’s some pretty nasty eats on the cover of that record. I fail to see the connection between canned meat and lard to ragtime. Maybe I’m missing something…
I think it’s just the time-period connection, not the food connection. Those are what people ate during the time Ragtime was popular.
I like that cover. Thanks for sharing it with us. Some of my older relatives still listen to a lot of ragtime.
