Ferrante And Teicher – Love in the Generation Gap
Ferrante And Teicher, Love in the Generation Gap. United Artists, SKAO-91623. 1968.
Wow, this is one dated looking cover. “Generation Gap-Definition: the lack of communication between anyone under twenty-five and over thirty.” Man, that is one tight gap. “How to Bridge it-Answer: use a common denominator, love and music.” Oh brother. Maybe I’m too much cynical Generation X, but I can’t fathom even printing stuff like that, much less believing it.
They are a piano duo. The front cover has a flap (the part with the names Ferrante And Teicher on it). It opens to show more of the scene on the right. Notice the dog sleeping on the pillow. I don’t think I’ve seen too many, if any, of these covers.
All the songs have the word “love” in the titles. Some are even from movies.
