American Legends. RCA-Camden CAL-1054. From Walt Disney’s “Melody Time”, Johnny Appleseed. All voices by Denis Day. Original copyright is 1949, but this LP dates from 1964. The other side is Roy Rogers tells and sings about Pecos Bill from Walt Disney’s “Melody Time” with the Sons of the Pioneers. This album has two front sides. Don’t see too many of those. These two shows were put together with a couple other in Disney’s American Legends. The Brave Engineer (1950), a screwball version of “The Ballad of Casey Jones,” Paul Bunyan (1958), and John Henry (2000). American Legends. Melody Time (Disney Gold Classic Collection).
