Chet Atkins and His Guitar, Now and… Then
Chet Atkins and His Guitar, Camden Records CAL-659 RE, 1964. I really like this cover. There is something about the industry of a train bridge in the middle of wooded countryside. It attracts both sides of my split personality.
Chet Atkins Now and… Then. Silver Anniversary Series. RCA Victor VPSX-6079 Stereo, 1972. I have a better copy of this that I got after I took this photo. Now and Then is not on CD, so if anyone wants to buy one of the LPs, just let me know. I’m reasonable. My wife wants me to get rid of all 600 albums. Well, maybe not all, but most. She’s really very good about my collecting tendencies. I will say that even though she doesn’t read any of my blogs. EDIT: NOW AND THEN SOLD.

Is the Chet Atkins album for sale and if so how much and does it have the photo book inside?
Sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you but besides the holidays, I’m having trouble locating my Chet Atkins albums (all my A’s actually) but I think it had the book. I’ll keep looking, I should find it tomorrow. I’ve got my albums in 4 different areas around the house.
I am happy you found the album. My father was a professional musician years ago and played for a short time with Chet at WPTF in Raleigh, NC. My dad played the bass and mandolin. The picture book with this album has my dad’s picture in it. He died in 2005 would like the books to give to family.
