The Choir Wide Eyed Wonder T-Shirt
The Choir, Wide Eyed Wonder tour (1989-1990), with a picture of a band member’s Grandmother on the cover. They were on tour with Russ Taff. I posted this at Webshots a long time ago, then at some point, someone stole the picture and put it on Wikipedia with no credit, link back to my album, or anything. I know that’s a risk we all take, but I still hate it, especially since Wikipedia’s licensing says “I, the copyright holder of this work, hereby release it into the public domain..” So that means that once it’s there, people assume it’s public domain and whoever posted it was NOT the copyright holder. I sent them a message that I was the owner, but didn’t really see the “release” that my message implied. Anyway, on to some music:
Russ Taff The Way Home T-Shirt

He’s got a great voice, unique and expressive. Listen to this video:
1993 Western Auto and Sears Craftsman Drag Racing Nationals
A t-shirt for the 1993 Western Auto Nationals at Heartland Park, Topeka and on the back, Sears Craftsman Nationals also at Heartland Park. One was in the Spring and the other was in the Fall. I think this is the year I got to be in the tower right over the starting line. A pretty awesome seat if you ask me. Did I ever mention I used to work at Western Auto? R.I.P. I was also at Heartland Park they year it opened. It was hot, very dusty (no grass yet) and windy. We were miserable when we got out of there. But every time I’ve been back it’s been a great place.
Center Line Racing Wheels – Ve Haff Vays uf Making You Race!
Center Line Racing Wheels T-Shirt. I’ve always loved this shirt, never seen another like it. I think I got it when I was working at an auto parts store. If you like this, check out my Mag Wheels poster.

Robert Cray 1988-89 Concert T-Shirt
Robert Cray, Don’t be Afraid of the Dark concert tour T-shirt, 1988-1989. I love Robert Cray, his albums Strong Persuader
, Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark
, and Midnight Stroll
are all top-notch. Unfortunately I haven’t kept up with him as well as I’d like. Cray was with John Hiatt on this tour. What a great show! I saw them at the Cotillion Ballroom in Wichita, KS (history and photos here). The place only seats a couple hundred people I think. What a great venue. But you may notice, Wichita is not listed in the cities on the back.
A friend of mine saw Metallica there and he was standing at the stage when one of the band members reached over and took the cigarette out of my friend’s mouth and started smoking it! How long has it been since Metallica played a place that small?
No Problem as a catchphrase
When did “No Problem” become enough of a catchphrase that a shirt was made out of it? I don’t know, but it was in the 1980s.
