Casino Royale, music by Burt Bacharach. Theme played by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass. Colgems/ RCA COSO-5050, 1967. Movie stars David Niven as James Bond – a retired 007, also has Ursula Andress, Peter Sellers, Orson Welles, and Woody Allen. This is a somewhat collectible cover and soundtrack. It’s much better than the movie. I only made it about 15 minutes before I shut it off. I’m sure many of you retro fans love the movie, but good grief, does it ever get going? I did like the newer version.

I have watched the whole movie. It did have me scratching my head. lol I love the music in it. Very cool.

  2. I haven’t seen it, would have liked to see Peter Sellers and Woody Allen teamed together in a film though. Must have had some funny moments.

  3. Perhaps I didn’t wait long enough for anything funny to happen. Those 1960s movies can be real hot-or-miss.
