Audubon Lynx Print
This is a cool drawing. “Lynx Rufus. Guldenstaed. Common American Wild Cat. Male. Drawn from Nature by J. J. Audubon, FRSFLS.” I don’t know what the initials stand for. Well, J. J. stands for John James Audubon, but a quick search shows the FRSFLS is Fellow, Royal Society; Fellow, Linnean Society, according to Cartographic Arts both were top scientific societies in England.
