1950 C. M. Hoof Auto Parts and Hardware Catalog
C. M. Hoof Company 1950 catalog. Auto parts, sporting goods (including golf clubs!), and household appliances. Hoof was based in Chicago. Very similar to JC Whitney Outlet Stores
today. There isn’t much on Hoof Company on the net.
I love these kinds of catalogs. They are a lot of fun to look through and the drawings are just a really cool style. They don’t have them like this anymore.

You have some really neat retro items on this site. I actually remember the Hoof Company catalog because my dad had these catalogs in his body shop. And then of course I had the JC Whitney catalogs.

so vintage, and it’s really fascinating to have these sorts of items to be collected. I bet they cost a hefty amount these days. Cool blog by the way, very unique and original. We’ll be glad to be back here for more of your musings.
